Field image, uploading problem

Field image, uploading problem was created by phlaff

Joomla 1.5.26 / FC 1.5.6 r1648

When uploading an image in field image, the image seems to load but finally aborting and goes to a blanck administrator root page.

I have fixed permissions with Admin Tools, no results.

Try testing on localhost an error should be printed, otherwise try temporarilt enabling error reporting in Joomla , to see if an error message gets printed

PHP Settings
Display errors : On

No errors displayed even in localhost.

Errors displaying works because I had one this morning for an other extension.

So the blank page appear just after clicking upload and as soon as the uploading finishes , right?

You said you are on localhost, what is your local workstation , unix?

you have xampp ? in which folder did you install it?

maybe this is a folder permission problem

It was working with r1209 (1.5.6RC4).
Upgrading to r1648 was done from r1209, then problem appears.

Localhost is on Windows with Mov'amp (no problems for years).

Web version has the same problem, a few minutes ago I changed the folder where the image has to be downloaded and verified the permissions, all seems to be ok (755).
