WCAG validation was created by jrodgar

Hi!

I have to check the webpage accesibility under the WCAG parameters. On my first test I have had a problem with the lack of label on the advanced search flexicontent.

achecker.ca/checker/suggestion.php?id=57

I can make an override if needed, but I think is better to integrate it if able.

you mean that the for="unique_id" is missing in some label that appear in advanced search ?

Hello

in advanced search module, the label for the input form element is optional to save space (configuration)

Ok, I´m looking the configuration options. Are you refering to the inner prompt, the go button text, the linked text? Seeing the mod_flexiadvserach/tmpl/default.php, neither of them generates, as long as I see, a "<label for="searchword">

Of course I can override it, just wanted to share this, for some clients, the wcag validation is an important point.

Hello

i meant the inner label,
but that is not inside a <label>

it is a <span>, which is added via JS

will review this, when we update form templating again

I solved it with a override of mod_flexiadvsearch/default.php

Just for the record, a simple

<label for="search_searchword" class="search-label">Search</label>

Would suffice to solve the validation (of course you probably want to parametrize it, add language strings and so)

I see that the filters.php file need some work on this. Against wcag 2.0 AA, they usually fail at this point " achecker.ca/checker/suggestion.php?id=91 ", because they don´t have a associated but a span.

I have override the text search, but I´m going to have a problem with the range pickers (cause I´ll have one label for two inputs)
