State field not showing any icon was created by philippeg

Hi,
I try to display the state of an article in lists within a category thanks to the field "state" so that the people in charge of the administration can know immediately the state of the article without going through the editor; I have the label but the field is empty whatever the actual state of the article .. bug or forgetting parameter?

Hello

i can not confirm this
The field "State" is showing the state of item

did you create a custom layout for it or are you using the default layout ?

I used the standard field, what do you mean by layout ? templates ?

Hello

sorry , yes the other CORE field like 'categories' field now support layout

but the state field does not support custom layout

i think the reason that the 'state' is empty is due to CSS of your Joomla template

you see we are using icomoon font-based CSS icons

ok but i stuck now i will not change my template.
What can i do to solve the issue

Hello

i will add option to use
- the old icons,
- font-awesome icons (your template has these probably)
- icomoon icons

actually we should ship into the package our own set font icons to avoid these problems
this has been discussed with Emmanuel and Micker

i tried with beez3 and protostar : i see the state with protostar but not with beez3

Hello

Try to load icomoon CSS

Go to FLEXIcontent backend dashboard and click "configuration" to open component parameters

then inside 'Advanced' TAB enable loading of 'icoMoon CSS' by setting it to:
'Frontend' instead of 'Manual at Frontend'
