Catchable fatal error was created by DamonWilder

Hi Guys,

with a click on documents on the Flexicontent Dashboard I get following php-Error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in [...]/administrator/components/com_flexicontent/models/filemanager.php on line 185

I don't understand that. Do anybody knows what happens and can help me?

my systeminformation says 5.2.12-nmm1.

Hi,

I tried it today and don't know what happens, but it works. I made no changes on my system, but now it works. (maybe 'cause I'm checked last days for alternatives to flexicontent? :lol: )

Here is how to reproduce the bug:

Go on the items list page, click on a pagination link(click on page 2 for example).

Then go to the files manager. You get that problem.

then clear your cookies, login to the backend again and access file manager again: no problem anymore.

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Same problem for me and same way to reproduce it.

Hopefully, we have a way to get rid of it before it is corrected.

My PHP: 5.2.0-8+etch16

Hello,
i have the same error.

because.

Code:

$filter_item 		= $mainframe->getUserStateFromRequest( $option.'.filemanager.items', 			'items', 			'', 'int' );

does return an object.

The issue still only exists if no file in filemanager.

I have manually added an item and after that all works fine.

PHP 5.2.14 (fcgid)
Joomla: 1.5.22
FLEXIcontent: 1.5.3c stable (r354)

Hello !

I had the same error too.

I tried to add manually an item but this issue was still here... but only with google chrome (8.0.552.237).
...with Firefox on Internet Explorer all is ok :mrgreen:

... I don't understand.. suddenly it stopped working with Firefox.
It Only works with IE now :shock:

any idea ?
