I hope the developers will make this a feuture for the commenting system. I do not want JomComment or Jcomment. I want to use IntenseDebate.

Now the only solution is to hard code it in the tmpl files. In this case I chose to have the comments visible in only the item itself.

To get IntenseDebate in that, go to the file /components/com_flexicontent/views/items/tmpl/default.php

At the bottom of the file, find the last
Code:
<?php endif; ?>
and under that before the final </div> place your intense debate codes.

Hope to hear from you soon.

With best regards,

Piet Nutbey

Any chance of adding Disqus commenting too?

That one seems to work well with Superblogger and is pretty user friendly.

@pnut,

I tried to install the intenseDebate code in default.php - but it looked nothing like what you described.
did you mean _form.php?

Which version do you have?

thanks,

Hey Vistamedia, could you pls share some tips how did you get Disqus working with flexi?

If you dont want to relase the code that's fine, but could you pls tell us what you did, where to look for the solution?

We are competent with php so just some clear direction should work for us.

Many thanks dude!

Bump for Disqus. I had it installed before installing Flexi and would like to continue using it. I'll tinker around with the Disqus universal code, but it would be awesome to have native integration for Flexi

I realize this message is old - but you can install the universal disqus code in your site...

docs.disqus.com/developers/universal/

Just paste the code and install it at the bottom of your template files (item.php/category.php)....

If you are running on a local host:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript"> var disqus_developer = 1; // this would set it to developer mode </script>

In the <head></head> of the document will ensure your testing...
