can you try without sef to do some test ?

You need at least php 5.0. You must have otherwise you should receive a warning.

Test without SEF.

Also you can try the latest 1.5.6beta1 to see if it works with your SEF component:

I tried it on another site that I have and when I change flexicontent article does not save it, produces the same error. I have not activated Artio SEF.
