Hello

to also show articles

- either create a menu item to FLEXIcontent category, thus you will be able to list items,
above the item list, subcategories can be shown (you can select to show category details, title, image, etc)

or below the directory view that you have created, you can add (in module positions) FLEXIcontent universal modules, and in them select appropriate filterings (inside SELECT items TAB)

Hi,

Using Menu Category or Universal Module doesn't show any Item(s) - the page times out 'blank'

All items are set 'public' access

The Item(s) only display or show if i logged-in as Super-user - what does this mean?

I tried 'registered' 'Author' user but items does not show - only categories show

Hello

-- items are visible if:

a. their main category has and allowed access level
b. their contnet type has an allowed access level
c. the items have an allowed access level

please check access of main category and access of the content type

Hi

All categories access including main categories is 'public'
Content Type (Article) is 'allowed'
All Items access is 'public'

Item page is still 'blank' when navigating using FLC Directory

Setting Content Type: 'allowed' - Joomla menu (single article) works
Setting Content Type: 'Redirect to FC item view' Joomla menu (single article) show blank page

Does that mean there's a problem with the REDIRECT TO FC ITEM VIEW method...

Allowed, assigned to the user access level, eg public. Please do not confuse with joomla article view allowed column

Please do this test
In items manager click to preview a published item that is not scheduled or expired
Then in categories manager find the main category of the item and click to preview the category

i'm looking at FLEXIContent -> Permissions but not sure which settings to assign to public 'Allowed'. I can't see any items to assign 'Allowed' for public viewing.

Test: (carried out from items manager and category manager)
1. Item is not showing in preview
2. main category of item (above) is showing in preview

Hello

i'm looking at FLEXIContent -> Permissions

Joomla access levels are different from Joomla ACL permissions is a different thing

you may send me a PM with
site URL
super admin login
and the ID of the category (that you are using as home) that does not list items

Hi,
By default, Joomla has Users -> viewing access levels -> public -> (user group with viewing access) public
All items are have 'public' access

I'm guess FLC Groups inherit this default setting (from Joomla)

If not? please let me know where to config this
