configuring text direction & text align for category layout

Hi everyone,
I came up with a problem again and it's about:
In the category layout for templates, I have 8 positions
like "above-description-line1" or "above-description-line2-nolabel" and so on. I want to configure my chosen position in text align and text direction. How could I do it? I mean, I gussed it must be this way that I add for example:
direction: rtl;
or
text-align=right;
in template/css/category.css but there is no specific place to add it. Also I changed category_items.php and added some:
<p dir="rtl">
in for example <!-- BOF above-description-line1 block --> section, but it's not working. Could anyone please help me?

check id or class of your postion
created in your category.css

Id or class? where is it. In the css file I didn't find anything similar.

The template is a copy of blog. I just copied "item"related files(xml and .php files) from the default template.

do you duplicate your template with template administration ?

Yes, but again I copied item.xml and item.php manually from default and replaced them in the template folder by cpanel.
