Browser Compatibility Issues

I am posting this issue here as I am not sure if I should be posting it in the bugs area of the SVN. Currently having multiple issues with flexicontent in IE and Firefox. But different issues in each except one that is common in both. I have attached screenshots of the issues and hopefully can explain the best I can. I am running Joomla 1.5 and Flexicontent version 1.5.6 RC6 (r1368).

First issue is in Firefox 14 and the editor. I am currently using JCE for the editor and as you will see below.

1. When hovering the text boxes, you do not get a pointer but you get the mouse finger as if you are going to be clicking on a link. It still inserts the cursor when clicked, but just a minor issue.

2. In firefox only, when editing a item the editor does not expand 100% to the area. Only in the items areas only. The categories editor expand 100% just fine.

3. You will notice the tags area is pushed to far too the right, again only in the items areas.

The next attachment is for IE category view, in the ordering area. Only happens in IE and only in the category area.

The next attachment shows the item editing area in IE, not the editor area does not have the same issue as firefox for expanding 100% but the text area at the top and the tags area is the same issue as firefox.

1. When hovering the text boxes, you do not get a pointer but you get the mouse finger as if you are going to be clicking on a link. It still inserts the cursor when clicked, but just a minor issue.

2. You will notice the tags area is pushed to far too the right, again only in the items areas.

These issues have not stopped the functionality of Flexicontent, but just a little annoyance. Please let me know if I should post a bug in SVN to link to here.

Thanks

.
You're OK posting here.

Have you tested other editors?
It would be helpful to know if this happens with other editors or just with JCE.

mmm, This looks like HTML is broken.

Maybe when some options are not available it get's broken due not properly closing table or wrong number of table cell per row.

You can send me a PM to view the problem

It seems that
view/item/tmpl/default.php
is a little altered, and has a width="100%" in a table cell

Anyway shortly there will be a new revision that you can update to.
