Search FlexiContent Plugin not working for content

Hi there,

Is the flexicontent search plugin working for anyone? I have disabled the joomla search plugins, and get the correct results for my flexi content, yet the links it generates are wrong.

search generates urls for content as e.g.: HOSTNAME/index.php/component/flexicontent/items/item/47-mitglied-1
if I here remove the "/items" path, it correctly gets me the item.

Did you tryed this without activating SEO in the Joomla-config? I think you are working with SEO without mod_rewrite/active htaccess and this configuration cause often problems.

Having the same problem.
SEO is on and mod_rewrite is as well. Everything else seems to be working.

Hi Ron, your problem seems to be solved... Ajaxsearch = 3 hits / view all results = 5 hits, links are working correct. (seen with FF 3.5.7 / Mac OS X)

I have the same issue. Mod_rewrite/.htaccess turned on for native SEF purposes.

btw, clicking on "test" search link on your site gives this error:

I can't confirm this bug, on my testproject the search-plg works fine.

- Joomla 1.5.15 standard-search module with flexisearch-plg
- FLEXIcontent 1.5.2 stable
- Joomla-SEO active with mod-rewrite/htaccess

I think I can't help you more even if I can see the problem "live"... My testsite is locked also (offline for public), so I can't give you a link and show you that it really works.

Did you reuploaded the file that is marked in the error message, maybe it was corrupted by uploading it at the first time.

I am also having this issue. Any ideas? Here is a link to a search with this issue; some items link properly and some do not (have not found the pattern yet). As above, these items go to a blank page but removing /items from the URL gives you the correct page.

When I checked it right, in searchresults
- all items in a category with a menulink work fine
- all items in a category without a menulink doesn't work

Try to generate an unpublished menu with links to every category wich isn't linked right now and please give us a feedback if this workaround solves the problem...
