[Fixed] Backend default article sort order broken was created by gcprnet

Since I upgraded to FLEXIcontent version 1.5.6 RC9b (r1601) the item sort order in the backend seems to be broken. I usually had set it up that the newest articles are on top of the list but now articles are always displayed the other way around: Oldest first. I tried to change the settings of "Items Manager Order Direction" in the "Backend Managers" Tab but they have no effect.

Found bug and fixed it, will be in next public package

Bug was introduced by recent drag and drop reordering and other ordering enhancements and fixes

Hello, I am also experiencing this issue.

Is it possible for you to share the code changes to fix this issue by patching the files in our sites?

I have a couple sites that really need this.
