Post Migration Issues with Admin

I just finished migrating my last Joomla 1.5 site over to Joomla 2.5.22 following the instructions provided in this forum ( www.flexicontent.org/component/flexicont...-tool.html?Itemid=28 ) and www.flexicontent.org/documentation/faq/6...v2x-for-j25-j3x.html

I am having the following issues:
1) JCE Editor (Global default editor & also assigned to my admin user login) does not appear in any template (default or custom).
2) Category detail view is broken.

I do apologize that my client was dragging their feet in authorizing this upgrade to happen, but now I'm under the gun as they are replacing their current server (PHP 5.3.3.7/Apache2.2.16) with a new server (PHP 5.4.4-14/Nginx 1.2.1) which won't support Joomla 1.5 sites.

If you want I can PM SU login info to you.

Thanks,

Scott

Hello

about 1, please
a. configure the JCE editor to used as default editor for ALL user groups/users
(check JCE configuration and documentation and the check your Joomla default editor and the default editor for your user(s))

b. also check each content type configuration that HTML editor is set to be used for the description field

about 2, test with a built-in template
and it should work,

then either upgrade old template (see our FAQ article for ugrading the templates) or better duplicate a built-in FC template and customize it

# 1 is resolved.

# 2 Attached is a screen shot of a category using the default (core) template. I also tried createing a new category and got the same view (just blank field values). I've tested also with the blog (core) template with the same results. It looks like something was broken when it renders the Category Detail view page in the admin only.

Thank you once again for your very very quick response! You are a lifesaver!!!

Thanks for the prompts response. I did this as part of the outlined migration process. I did go back and confirm that all of the edits were made correctly (I've been know for a typo or two)...Attached is a zip file with all of the different templates...based on the instructions provided they look correct however the Admin Category Detail page is still broken...any other ideas?

- e.g. all you item/category parameters must have their type param set e.g. type="sometype", so type="" will break the form, so check you XML file for it

DUH!!! Okay I had made all the edits listed above but missed this...went back and fixed and cleared the cache and presto...works like a charm. Thank you for putting up with me!

After the holiday I will make sure to review on the JED!!!!
