Joomla 4.4.0 upgrade and SEF URLS

I have a site that uses your tagged items (category view) links.

This is an example of the code we have been using for content links:

    <div><strong><em>Cruises</em></strong></div>
    <div><a href="index.php?option=com_flexicontent&amp;view=category&amp;cid=15:azamara-club-cruises&amp;layout=tags&amp;tagid=12" target="_self">Azamara Club Cruises</a></div>

We get this by selecting the FlexiContent tagged item (category view) menu item type.

This was generating this SEF URL /cruises-12/azamara-club-cruises

After upgrading to Joomla 4.4.0 the SEF URL is now /component/flexicontent/tagged/12/cruises/azamara-club-cruises

This does not return the site 404 error page but instead redirects back to the home page.

Any help in resolving this ASAP would be a great help!

Thanks!

hello what is your flexi version ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Did you need any more information? Should I consider using 4SEF to be able to manage these SEF URLS?

Thanks!

The he only change we made was to upgrade to Joomla 4.4.0.

Would upgrading to 5.0 with its backward compatibility plug-in resolve?
