Is there a possibility of excluding some categories form being search??

actualy not but with advenced search yes

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

how can I excluded some cateogries in advanced search???

I think it is easy to put in the core only a few lines, and i agree it is needed. Last thing to fix is some issue in advanced search, will add this.
