Have trying posting new content using the front end submission feature in FlexiContent 1.5.2 stable. When you submit the content two dupicate items (artices) are created!

Frontend submission isn't for using "productive" at this time...

we have the same problem here.

But it only happens in INTERNET explorer.

Regular users when they submit a new article in the front end the article duplicates.

I don't have IE (mac user) but I'll have a look tomorrow.
Are you sure you are using 1.5.3c?

Hey there,

yes we are 100% sure.

We just finish testing it again.

We have made a new installation, with the rockettheme quative template, with jce editor and flexicontente 1.5.3c

The we have found is in the Internet explorer 8, when we submit an new article in duplicates on submition.

Thats the only one thing wrong that we have found on the component.

Do you know if it seems to affect IE7 as well, cause I don't have any version of IE8?

Yes it also happens. Just tried.
Image attached.

In this image you can see the result and our item.
Chrome and firefox works fine, ie 7 and 8 doesn't.

Hi, I made some testing on IE and I cannot reproduce your issue :roll:

Hey, this weekend we have tried it again.

A brand new installation with the default template and flexi. No other plug-ins or extension or components.

In the front end sumbition the item get duplicated when submitted in via internet explorer.

Same issue here, FLEXIcontent version 1.5.3c stable (r354) on a fresh install of Joomla 1.5.18 on latest wampserver on windows 2003 server.
With IE 7 and 8 i get double items and sometimes double confirmations. With IE6 no problems.
