I have a problem with joomla template loading...

I have a page with a specific template defined (not the default), I have the universal module on this page, all category links from this module will be loaded on the default joomla template.

There is simple way to avoid that? (without creating hidden menu)

Sorry i dont understand could you put
FC version and link to problem ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

FC 2.0.0
Joomla! 2.5.9

I cannot easily give access to you, I am working on an intranet but here some more explanations:

Under Extensions/template manager
Under the "style" tab, in the "style" column I choose a specific template for a menu (different of the default template).

The page chosen has the universal module.
The module is displaying categories with a link to these categories.
When I click on a category link, I will be switched to the default template of joomla.
To avoid that I have to add my categories to an hidden menu and assign the template to these menus.
I would like to avoid these last step because I would like to have kind of "sub-website" just by creating new categories.
The objective is to have a non-it person able to add kind of sub-websites/sub-groups just with few clicks.

In Joomla the template style is determined by the Menu ID (Itemid).

In the FLEXIcontent Universal Content Module parameters ...
Basic Options > Menu item to activate > Force menu item
What is your setting there?

I tested this option
This is only applying for items display not for category display
I set a parent category with a hidden menu having the specific template, but it didn't apply the redirection for subcategory links.
