Class "active" to highlight current item was created by Anonymous
Hello everyone.
I'm new here and I hope I'm posting my question in the right section.
I'm using FlexiContent Universal Module with "default" layout to show a list of categories and items (articles). My purpose is to use it as a sort of submenu, because I don't want to create a single menu item for each article. The question is, is it possible to assign a class="active" (or something similar) to the link pointing to the current item, in order to highlight it via css?
I thought this would be added by defualt as it seems to be the logical behavour...but maybe I'm using the module in the wrong way...or maybe I'm missing something in the module config.
Thank you in advance to everyone who will help with this!

Hello

this sub-forum does not appear to "active topics" so we missed answering this thread, will check to fix this

yes adding a CSS class for current item makes sense, to the default and other universal module templates makes sense, we have made the change and it will be in next version for templates:
default, news, carousel

Hi ggppdk,
I'm looking for this feature too... When will the next version come out?
Can you post this templates here, or they will not be compatible with r1806?

Hello

this is already implemented in our development repository (we use Google SVN)

will make a public build tomorrow, which you can use (it has other features too like 2-level ordering)

-- about "active" item in
Universal Content Module 's templates,

a. the change also involves the helper file of the module,
b. the "active" CSS class was added to all built-in templates (except for templates that display a dropdown "select")

Regards

Hello

- upcoming version v2.1.3 also has a CSS class for "selected" item in carousel template of the module
- the carousel will slide only if selected item is not already visible (e.g. you are showing 3 items at a time)

also please see a PM that i have sent you
