Ah thanks, makes sense.

Flexicontent 3 is now working, but the pagination still isn't unfortunately. I'm not sure what you mean regarding the sh404 plugin: I can't see one installed in my Joomla extensions manager.

without mijosef ? native joomla sef that work ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

It works with Joomla SEF.

I'd be happy to hack in a workaround, no matter how clunky. I've been updating this website from Joomla 1.5 for about 2 years now (off and on), so I don't want to fail at the final hurdle!

Fixed it. I updated Mijosoft and it now allows me to place an exception into which URLs are turned into SEF URLs. I added an exception for URLs with "limitstart" in them and now it works! I'll mark the thread as solved.
