If you reload/refresh category manager page, then does it not go away?

Did you try to logout/relogin?

Did you login to both backend/frontend?

Problem solved by disabling flexicontent, creating categories and enabling flexicontent.

I would see another thing, I make a menu with articles submission, everything is ok except the publication details field, there is nothing, and I would have the possibility that the publishers select directly the "Access" of the article on the frontend.

Is this possible ?

I've been on the global configuration of Flexicontent, in Permissions, and configured, but always still the "Publication details" with nothing on the item editing frontend.

Fronted item edit form permissions are also defined per Content Type, so edit your content type e.g. "car" and check the setting for publication details.

Besides the setting for the frontend item edit form in content type configuration,
the frontend user will also need to be super-admin for older FC revisions OR (changed behaviour)... for latest FC revisions will need to have publish permission on the item

Regards

I have the Flexicontent version 2.0 RC5 v1338( latest )

I tried to login as Super User but I still can not have the "Access" field in editing item in front office.

Do you think that this "Access" field is a field which can be placed in a template ?

I have another bug always in editing item in front office, my fields appears, but all the text fields are not usable, the field onto which we type text is not present, I just have the name field and "Add value".

In the Back office the field appears correctly.

there have been some changes and bug-fixes since r1338,

I have just checked and access parameter is only allowed to super-admin group in frontend even for revisions after r1338, will change this to be allow to people with publish permission on the item.

Same should be for all publication permission
EXCEPT author which should be allowed to be changed only by super-admin

Will make a public download within week with a few more bug fixes

For now to allow access parameter in frontend
Open file components/com_flexicontent/view/item/tmpl/form.php
find lines:
Code:
<li><?php echo $this->form->getLabel('access');?> <?php echo $this->form->getInput('access');?></li>
and move them a few lines down just after the first encounter of:
Code:
<?php endif; ?>
