sh404sef URL's not working correctly

Hey everyone, I'm new here and this is my first post!

I recently came across FlexiContent and installed it on my site - it's a fantastic piece of software! Does everything I wanted so far, however, I am having a problem with the URL's.

I have searched this forum and the sh404sef forum looking for answers, I have also downloaded all the com_flexicontent.php files I came across and tried them and I still can't get it working.

So my problem lies with the categories, here's what I mean:
I create an article named ABOUTME and place it in the HOME category and the INFO category. Now when I visit the HOME category, the article is:
www.website.com/aboutme.html
But if I visit the INFO category, the url is:
www.website.com/info/aboutme.html

So it seems sh404sef is not appending the primary category's title. Does that make sense? Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I can't get the URL's working then I can't use FlexiContent. :(

Hi, thanks for your reply!

I don't really understand your post, however, I think you mentioned about including the category in the URL, which I have done, but it makes no difference because the URL is being controlled by the menu item.

I think it is FlexiContent at fault here becuase the URL's should go off the primary category you place an article in to, if it did that it might work correctly?

Sorry, could you explain a little more? I've been through the menu item's options and played around yet nothing had any effect on the URL's.

Thanks
