Favourites as module

Hi guys

I was wondering if there's a way to show the favourites as a module? As a start, I've tried adding the contents of

components/com_flexicontent/views/favourites/tmpl/default.php

to a custom PHP module but it just shows me the logged out text:
Favour the items you consider useful to create your personal bookmark list. Just Login and click on the heart icon of the item details.

How do I get the login info so it shows me the user's table of favourites I need? Surely it must be relatively straightforward from here?

My eventual aim is to show the favourites in a drag and drop module position, then try and update the favourites via AJAX when clicked or dragged (hopefully).

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

BTW my FlexiContent review just got approved/published on the JED ;-)

use universal module with favorite scope not ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

So you want to display the favourites list in a module, right?

I opened and enhancement issue
code.google.com/p/flexicontent/i ... ail?id=285

I think it is better to add to the Universal module e.g. AS A NEW SCOPE , instead of creating a new module

Will probably add in v1.5.7

Regards

Hi guys when you say new scope, what do you mean? I appreciate the feature being raised though, woo! :D

EDIT: And yes I need to display this in a module. Eventually using jQuery UI for drag and drop for the whole frontend. I'm 50% there already ;-)

I said to implement this in the Universal module ,

because the Universal module, already has many filtering and templating capabilities, no need to put effort and time to re-implement many things that already exist in the universal module.

I have sent you a PM.
