I have many categories. Is there a way to make the category selection/assignment field in the bigger in the backend. Would be easier then to assign the categories!

file:

administrator\components\com_flexicontent\views\item\view.html.php

3 lines like:

$lists = flexicontent_cats::buildcatselect($categories, 'cid[]', $selectedcats, false, 'multiple="multiple" size="20" ....

but avoid it ..., it will be overwritten on upgrade

Actually, in file administrator/components/com_flexicontent/assets/css/flexicontentbackend.css a value for the height has to be added:
Code:
.mcat, .scat { width: 235px; height: 600px; }

--Yes i have tried this css rule too, but this effects one or two other places.

-- If it is ok for you, then use this css rule,
... or make a new css rule which is more specific.

Regards

You are right. Using an own css class will be better.

Ideal would be to make the selection field resizable...
