Field in category filter

Hello..

I need help width put a new type of field in category filter.

I have a related field width "city", i have many, and for each city i have streets, so i use the related field.

The problem is, the filter in category, he dont appears, i put him in the general configurations -> Filter field type, but the problem continuous.

Not all fields are allowed to be filters, they must implement the function onDisplayFilter(), in order to be filterable.

What is the type of your filter?
What flexicontent version do you use?

I use two, Select FlexiContent Items (Reverse) and the related.

If you mean "related items field", this field is not filterable yet,

about the "select item reverse field", i think the author has made it filterable, get latest version

Also, after contact with the author of the "select item reverse" has agreed to include in the main source trunk, and it will be able to reverse the "related items field"

I found a bug, in select field.

I have 3 types in the filter (sit1.jpg), i choose one of than.
After load the page, i try select another filter type, but he only show the option i choose before (sit2.jpg).

I can fix this?

We have a new parameter in category view to show only the available values inside the filters (works on all custom fields).

So go to category parameters and check if you have enabled option:
Layout Common/Limit filter values/according to current filtering
