Question about Google Maps was created by pepiw1

Hi,

I'm using the Google Maps Plugin extensions.joomla.org/extensions/maps-a-...-locations/maps/1147 in my Flexicontent Installation. (Joomla 2.5)

I have 3 fields: field City, field Postcode, field Street

Is it possible to locate the address from that fields, to get the google map working?

hello
to create a field for googlemaps you can read faq of site
1 create a text field
2 actived plugin for field
3 use prefix and suffix (ex {mosmap ...)
4 in your plugin actived location
5 insert you address

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

Hi, Micker

This is exactly what i not want. Because the user has to fill in the Address-Data twice.

i understand but actualy not ... you can do it ..
maybe loading 3 fields directly in php code ..

I have the solution,

It is working.

I have just hardcoded this code in my template

Code:

{mosmap address='<?php echo $this->fields['field24']->display;?>,<?php echo $this->fields['field31']->display;?>  | width='550'| height='400'| zoom='15'}

That was easy..
