I can't figure out how to break the subcategory list in the directory view into columns. If there are lots of subcategories I end up with a long single column list and a large blank area to the right.

I imagine I am just missing a setting. I have tried menu options, category options and flexicontent option. thanks.

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,

this is category view and not directory
and
actually you can put them in a format like columns via the using prefix/suffix / separator for the subcategory list ,

-- you add as prefix <span class="myclass1">
-- you add as suffix </span>
-- add some css to any css file
.myclass1 {
... some rules
}

But ... the prefix/suffix / separator for the subcategory list do not accept HTML in v2.0.0 (they do in v2.0.1)

Please wait a few days for v2.0.1

Regards

Hopefully, You make a nice looking directory view in v2.0.1 as well.I have too many categories and the page is too long. Like built-in Accordion option would be so good.

You mean accordion for subcategories?

Yes,
for v2.0.2 or later

i guess using more JS effects (via jquery) will make FLEXIcontent more "polished" ...

Thanks. I will wait, happily, for the 2.0.2 version.

Micker. thanks for the offer on the css. The site is offline. It would be interesting to see how you could manage splitting the columns with css. If you want a login let me know and I will send via pm.
