Hi everyone,
i'm in trouble with item list filtering incategory view.
I have a custom field (id #36), a radio button with 3 values (0, 1 & 2).

I want to hide items with field36 set to 2, so I typed this :
Code:
36##0+++1

But it only show items with field36 set to 0...

Here is the params in URL :
Code:
?filter_36[0]=0&filter_36[1]=1 36&limitstart=0

What is wrong?
(I have FC3.0.14-rc2a & J3.5.1)

Hello

there are some "empty characters" append to "1"

Question: inside the parameter
- have you added some control characters after "1" that look like spaces,
or are they spaces ?

if they are spaces then then are removed automatically
strange,

please check and post back, if they are spaces and not "control" characters, then we may have a bug with the spaces

I don't see any other characters.
I cleared everything (CTRL+A then Del) and retyped exactly 36##0+++1, and the problem is still there :/

Edit : the frontend display only items with 0, like before, but the params in URL displayed is cleaner :
Code:
?filter_36[0]=0&filter_36[1]=1&start=8
When i manually edit this url, nothing change. I tried this:
Code:
?filter_36[1]=1&start=8

Hi,
I still got the problem, any idea to solve it?

Is there a way to use filtering to display items if field value is different. I mean : i have a field with a number inside. Can I use filtering to diplay only items with a positive number ?

Hello

yes you will only get 1 value ... if have you configure the field to a SINGLE VALUE filter !!

e.g. if your field a select drop-down then you can-not use multiple values

to allow filter to use mutiple values, your filter must be
- checkboxes
- tag-like (=select-multiple)

OK i didn't got that. It's clear now, thanks.

So it hides only one value; is there a way to show only one value?
If not, could be useful to get this option, I can pull a request on GitHub if you want.

Regards
