Minigallery Image Size

I'm still working on my modified page, and now I'm having some issues with Minigallery.

I started the sizing at 430 x 300 for the container. You can see this one the page.

I don't like the way it's cutting images off. So, I have some questions.

1. I was under the impression that the gallery should scale the images both ways, but I'm guessing it only scales width-wise. Am I correct?

2. Changing the container size in the field is not changing how it views. I even deleted the images and re-uploaded them, to see if the re-sizing happened on upload, but they seem to stay the same size. Is this the correct functioning?

3. How can I change the size of the main image to show properly on my site?

Thanks! I'm enjoying the immense flexibility of FLEXIcontent, and looking forward to doing even more with it!

.
This looks like something which should be a parameter setting in the Minigallery Plugin.

It is a phpThumb setting called zoom-crop.
Zoom the image to fill the area, crop the overflow.

This is what you have:

http://www.365daysofstyle.com/components/com_flexicontent/librairies/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=/components/com_flexicontent/medias/black_and_white_red_dress_365.jpg&w=450&h=300&zc=1

And this is what you want:

http://www.365daysofstyle.com/components/com_flexicontent/librairies/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=/components/com_flexicontent/medias/black_and_white_red_dress_365.jpg&w=450&h=300

Should be easy to fix.
But later.
Need sleep now.

Any ideas?

BTW, I'm subscribed to this thread, but I haven't been receiving notices from the FLEXI boards for some time. I have to keep checking back.

Thank you!

.
Well if I could get the MiniGallery to work I could test my changes.
Have some changes for the plug-in and some-bug-fixes for phpThumb to test.

Nothing appears in the content item.
Yes, I did make the small fix from your other thread.
And checked a bunch of other stuff.

Soooo . . . at the moment I am so frustrated that I am going to take a break and work on something else.

Well, if you wanna play on a site where I have it working, I'm happy to allow that.
