Textfield - inputting numbers only

Is it possible to add an option to limit only numeric digits in text field?

Edit: Could you also add two message box in backend. One for explanation for entering value(instead of using tooltip) and another one for error message.
Display those right next to value field when user entered wrong value.

It would be great if these message box available for all kind of FC fileds.

This almost made it in RC9a, because the JS validation code was already examined recently, plus there was a similar discussion before.

1. Js validation functions we have already,

so if we add a parameter "value type" that will control adding CSS classes like
validate-number
validate-email
validate-integer
validate-mantissa
etc

to the (input) form field, then it should work, just we should add a little more code to warn user of what he/she has to type

So you think since we already load jQuery in the form that we should use jQuery UI to validate input various input types,

i see that we can also allow custom format MASKS too !!!

this will certainly give more value to the field
