It would be nice if you could display item count for Favorites & My items menus.

Menus are displayed without count.

now:
My items
Favorites

to:
My items: 3
Favorites: 10

OK, i will need more details on what you mean

- this is a new J2.5 feature that i do not know of ? ... OR You speak of ...
- of adding a number next too menu item label at frontend ?
- of the Page Heading just above the Content List, adding the number there ?
- of the Page Heading just above the Content List, adding the number there ?
- of something else ?

Sorry for the delay,
Yes, first option - of adding a number next too menu item label at frontend.
So that all registered users will know how many items they've created or favored items..

But the menu items are created by the menu module , how we will add a number to label ?

via a system plugin that does a regular express search? consider that module output can be any HTML
