Hi Guys,

Is there a clever way to use font awesome in field elements instead of images or labels?

e.g. value1::label1::<i class="fa fa-phone" aria-hidden="true"></i>%%

or even value1::<i class="fa fa-phone" aria-hidden="true"></i>%%

Thanks :)

Hi, I am just using the prefix/suffix feature.

Thanks Rooney,

But what I am actually trying to achieve is something like this in the 'field elements' in for example a 'Select' field:

1::Yes::<i class="fa fa-check" aria-hidden="true"></i>%%
2::No::<i class="fa fa-times" aria-hidden="true"></i>%%

Here every value has a different Font Awesome font, the problem with prefix and suffix is that all the values must have the same font in the same field.

When I try it my way the font awesome code comes up but for some reason it does not render it as a Font Awesome Icon, it just treats it as text. Which is what font awesome is so that's why I'm asking if there is a trick to it. Maybe wrap it in some other code or something.???

Hello

the purpose of fields:
- radioimage
- checkboximage

is to make easy to use image / icons

so indeed we should add this , and once added
- it will be used as common as the images
- further more, someone can modify existing fields to replace images with icons

Need to
- modify XML (done)
- viewing (done)
- form (done)
- filters display (to-do)
