Hi,

I'd like to know if it's possible to restrict a user to view content in back end that he hasn't submitted.

I have a user group who allow user to post in 3 categories but when a user of this groups logs in in the back end I'd like him to be able to see only content he posted and not all content. Right now I set "Front End and Content" permissions to users in group "Company Managers" to "Submit NEW items", "Edit OWN items", "Publish OWN items" and "Delete OWN items", so these users can only work on their submitted content.

So does anyone knows how I could hide in the back end the content that hasn't been posted by the user?

Thank you very much for your help

Hi Micher,

Thank you for your answer. I don't think creating a category by user would be the solution since it is be a community site that will accept both normal users and company users with the last having access to the back end.
I did what the post says to hide menu items in the front end but I don't think it will solve the problem in the back end. I actually am able to hide menu items in the back end.
I know in the front end we can hide content to users, is it possible in the back end too? If not do you know if it will be available in next releases?

Thank you very much again for your time.

Hi Micker,

I know it is a basic function of flexiaccess.

What I want is to hide articles that haven't been submitted by a user, restrict the view to articles only submitted by user.

What I would like to know is it it is possible to do what I stated above.

Thank you again.
