MS Access import was created by allebrugere

Is it possible to import data from MS Access files? (Or, Excel, CSV files for that matter). -The point is that i have a databasefile with data sorted in columns. (Vehicle data; registrationnumbers, VIN codes etc....) -And the database files from FlexiContent that i can find in phpMyAdmin, is sorted in an unpractical way, with all data sorted in one single column. My database file contains about 25.000 vehicles, so it is gonna take literally years to import them manually, by entering the data in the FlexiContent userface in Joomla. I am hoping that there is a way of importing from common row/column files, or else FlexiContent is completely useless for me! :cry:

if you student the flexitable you can import file by text import on phpmyadmin but becarefull it's dangerous.

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

get yourself a copy of navicat for mysql it will help you map it ive done it a few times i live by navicat
