Please help me sort Frontpage

... and now I'm have a couple issues I hope you all can help with.

My frontpage (default menu item) is Category 2

The problem is my item titles and readmore links lead to 404 errors, was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I have tried up to level 3 and with and without add to pathway.

I will try AidaNews but I was hoping for a better solution the module seems to still be in need of work. Its a very promising extension and one I had been waiting to mature a little more.

My primary concern with trying to get frontpage categories to display correctly deals with the titles and readmore not linking correctly to my content. From reading through the AidaNews forum it seems to be a problem that is also passed on to the AidaNews module. I don't know for sure which extension is at fault but I'm leaning toward FC since the issue is with category display.

To be honest I really don't care how I have to do it as long as my links work. AidaNews intrigues me by actually encouraging its community to solve the issues it has and squash bugs and I can't wait to dig into it when I have time but I need to get this links thing sorted first

I do think 1.2.2 will address the majority of my issues with the module though
