Does 1.5.4 have a latest news module?

I am using an old version of Flexicontent and it currently uses a news module (the one I downloaded from these forums.)

Does the new 1.5.4 have a news module that I can download and use?

which old version are you using ?

There has been only one upgrade where we had to redo the templates and some other stuff, I can't remember which one, but it was way back. Since then, all upgrades went fine, so it's a good possibility your actual module is still working in 1.5.4
