FLEXIContent - v1.5.6 - final for J1.5 released (r1648)

As i said in my previous, post, there are significant improvement in filtering of category view.

To be give more details the category view has been improved:
1. to combine all form filtering options (search box, alpha-index, field filters) smoothly and at the same time create a URL that has only the currently filtering data (so that 2 and 3 are possible:)
2. to work with full page caching (joomla system cache plugin) in all cases
3. to allow bookmarking of filtered page views

FOR this you will need to use the new updated templates,
so if you have custom templates and want to benefit from this, you have to copy the changes ..

For me, it's works only when I don't have "Apachemod_rewrite On" in configuration. Otherwise, i've got an error 404.

Can you provide more details ??
I have tested with SEF on/off and with mod_rewrite ON and using a unaltered joomla .htaccess file

Please tell us:
- is it happening with SEF ON/OFF (OK, joomla SEF requires mod_rewrite, so i -guess-, you either have SEF OFF or you have some other SEF component)
- do you have some third-party SEF component installed and running?
- do you have an altered .htaccess (in a way that it is relevant, note if you have uninstalled a SEF component, then you may have to restore the original .htaccess because it is not always restored)

Please provide any other information you might think that it is relevant.

I've just modify my htaccess to personnalize the 404 page.
I tried with the original htaccess, that the same thing, i've got an error if use filters.

I'll try to work on it today and apport more information if possible.

In fact I have "Add suffix on url" option turn on and that's the problem.
You have to disable it.

This should not cause this error, i opened a defect issue NOT to forget to test this:

A small bug : when I copy parameters in categories (with the tool : "copy parameters" in top menu), the loader newer stop, even if the params are copied.
So, the easiest is to wait 30s and close the pop-up windows and refresh the category view.

about copying of category parameters:

mmm, i don't get any JAVASCRIPT errors in my local dev copy, and no error in AJAX responce (PHP error occuring at the URL called via AJAX, for copying the category parameters)

There is an issue when moving items between categories.
The old deleted category is still highlighted when the item is reopened.

Suppose you have 10 items in 2 categories:
- CategoryRight
- CategoryWrong

Some items have:
- Primary - CategoryRight
- Secondary - CategoryWrong

Some items have the opposite:
- Primary - CategoryWrong
- Secondary - CategoryRight

We want all items only in CategoryRight.
So we move all the items with:
- Move only
- Keep secondary categories = No
And change the both the Primary category selection
and the secondary category selection to CategoryRight.

The Move works without any error.
The Items list now shows all those items with that one category.

BUT, when you open any of these items later
the CategoryWrong is also highlighted along with CategoryRight
in the secondary categories selection list.

So if you change something else and Save,
the CategoryWrong gets applied again.
The item is now also assigned to CategoryWrong again.

I went back to all the moved items and opened them one-by-one,
deselected CategoryWrong in secondary categories and re-saved.
Now the next time that item is opened only CategoryRight is highlighted.

So something in the Move function needs to be changed to prevent this if possible.

I looked at parameters copying.
The copying is executed successfully and a proper responce is received:

<div class="copyok">1 categorie(s) successfully modified, 0 failures.</div>

But for some reason the above AJAX responce is never accepted my mootools.

It must be related to server configuration, i have tested and you have same problem in other places too, e.g. in duplicating templates, the duplication is done and a proper http responce is received but the mootools never accept it.

The strange is that the AJAX responce is shown for deleting templates
