I am using FC 2.0 on joomla 1.7.x and i am displaying a list of article of others langauge as the current use on the page.
but when i open those article they opened using the joomla template which assigned to current langauge. as I use for each langauge different joomla templates i would like to add the langauge tag of the article to URL, so that joomla swicht the template.
is this possible?

Have you setup multi-language in your website?

The joomla plugin: "System - Language Filter" will automatically append current language to the URL.

If you have setup multi-language in your site goto the above plugin and check that the parameter: "Remove default language prefix" is disabled.

The language prefix is need by FLEXIcontent too, for language filtering the category view, and thus displaying items of current language only.

Regards

i have already use multilanguage and the plugin is activated and work well.

i give an example of my case.

in my site i have 2 content lang
1) arabic
2) english

each language use different joomla template.
now arabic is active language, and all assigned module to this language work as expected. now i define a FC module to all language which display latest article from content all language except the current. and in case of arabic language it display latest article of english, but URL of those article have still "ar" language tag, although these artiles are assigned to english langauge. when i click on those URL the article is opened correctly but using the template which assigned to arabic language, but i would like when openning those article, the content language switch to their language.

When no "lang" variable is appended to URL , then joomla routing will add the current one. So the solution is to append the correct language.

Test with this file:
code.google.com/p/flexicontent/s ... ail?r=1070
