Is there / will there be a way of choosing which fields to show in the favourites view? I just can't seem to find it...

.
The only way to change the Favorites view right now is with an output override.
See: Understanding Output Overrides

The file you would need to override:
joomla_root\components\com_flexicontent\views\favourites\tmpl\default.php

What are you trying to do?

I simply need to remove a couple of columns I don't need. Thank you for your help, I shouldn't have many problems in editing the file now that you showed me its location :D

When there is an update to FLEXIcontent the file will get overwritten.
So if you edit that file directly you will have to be careful to keep backup copies and replace the file.

If you use an output override file, FLEXIcontent updates will not overwrite the file.

Original Favorites Layout file is here:
/components/com_flexicontent/views/favourites/tmpl/default.php

Override Favorites Layout file goes here:
/templates/your_template/html/com_flexicontent/favourites/default.php

Just replace your_template in above location with your actual template location.
