Hi, first of all, thank you very much for this great extension and also to make it available for free to the JED community.

We have been trying mostly all existing CCK extension to build something as per our requirements but till now, all of them was missing something important but it seems at this instance that all our required features are present in FlexiContent and more important, now that an updated version is available for Joomla 2.5.

Now about our issue, we are not 'expert' to css or php stuffs but we have worked on some Joomla websites and now we are developing an updated website from our previous Joomla 1.5 version website, our website is a web portal featuring classifieds, community, business directory and some other features.

We are trying to use FlexiContent for the classified side of our website, just after installing, we replace an existing menu with a newly created category within FlexiContent and the menu that was on the right of the screen just disappear and was brought at the bottom of the main body, please see attached screenshot.

Note that our Joomla 2.5 website contains the following extensions:

Template: RT Halcyon
Joomla: 2.5.4
FlexiContent: v2.0 RC5 r1316

We are also using some addon extensions such as Jomsocial 2.6.2, JBolo as chat extension and some others.

We do not know actually is it is a template related issue or script related one but it will be nice if you could please have a look and let us know, we can provide access to our website including database and super admin as well if necessary.

The user menu does not fit at the right of your page and wrap after the FLEXIcontent item edit form

Try using css to force the frontend item edit form to fit to an appropriate size:

e.g.
div#flexicontent.flexi_edit {
width:500px!important;
}

replace 500px with an appropriate size

Regards

Hi, first of all, thank you very much for this quick reply and support, I followed your guideline to sort out this issue but unfortunately, the problem was not solved, see screenshot:

I reduce the submission form to 500 px, as per your suggestion, just to see if it does the trick but did not, we even change our template as we thought that there might be some conflict with the template, but still the same.

On the other side, it is not only the right menu that goes down but also all bottom menus as all the bottom template size enlarged completely to take the full screen size:

One thing is sure is that we are not going to change FlexiContent for another extension as it definitely fit all our requirements but we need to find a solution to solve this issue, so please help us.

Additionally, on the item edit form, you will see there is the language selection option, since this might be quite confusing for some users here in our country, we would like to disable the language selection option, we'll be creating categories as per Joomla default language filter and then connect the corresponding menu (category language) to the right place and we'll manage translation with the admin area prior to publish any item submitted through the frontend, please also advise us how we should proceed to disable this language selection option in the edit form.

Thank you very much for your support and also to assist us for all our queries, it is a fact that it is not easy to manage all these request and inquiries through the forum and your support is very much appreciated.
