Try using r1358
In Content Type configuration:
-- add fields in the parameter 'PDF displayed fields'
-- Format is
fieldname1, fieldname2, fieldname3:display, fieldname4:display_basic, fieldname5
-- Remove fields that cause problems, you may create special 'display' variables in your custom fields that fit the item PDF Format view better
-- you -need- to include description field 'maintext' in the list

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.

Just get view.pdf.php and type.xml, plus the language strings from the english language file and it should work:

code.google.com/p/flexicontent/s ... ail?r=1357
