Also, the item edit form would need to be converted to table-less to better support fieldsets and tabsets

You can instal the plugin Tabs & Sliders [for articles] (by JoomlaWorks). It work for description field.
1. install the plugin Tabs & Sliders
2. activate the plugin in the panel control
3. in the field description of each item do you can write, for example:

{tab=Contenido}
<p>su texto </p>
{tab=Videos}
aqui van videos
{tab=Libros}
aqui van libros
{tab=Enlaces de interés}
aqui van las paginas web

Tabbing code already exists in item edit form.

I ll remove the html table used to contain the custom fields and commit a new field called groupmarker that can create these 'markings':

Tab-set: START
Tab: open
Tab: close
Tab-set: END
Field-set: open
Field-set: close

You can try it in final version next week or so

i tried searching how to write the code but i failed

if i have two fields for example: field1 and filed2
their types are image fields
and i want to put them in a fieldset or a tab
can you provide me with the necessary code ?

if u have no time to write it ,i will appreciate that
