Resize description field

Hi,

Is it possible to resize (depending on the type of content) description field without html editor ?

it a core field of joomla

anyway, we should add some more parameters there,

In fact all parameters available for textarea field should be added to the description field and (to the the Content Type parameter section, that override description field configuration)

This is because, in newer revisions the description field is created via calling textarea onDisplayField() function.

You can use all textarea parameter by doing this:

1. Goto Content Type management Tab and find the "alias" of your countent type, e.g. 'hoteltype'
2. Create an unpublished field with name (not label), i say "name": text_hoteltype
3. Configure the new field

In future version i will move these parameters to description and to Content Type override
