How to search a custom field

How to search a custom field was created by jeffhoneyager

The users would like to search a custom field.

The "Searchable" parameter is set to "Yes"
Search - FLEXIcontent plugin is enabled

When using a search module (Joomla supplied or other 3rd party), there are no results are found.

I also enabled the search in a category, and it still did not find the item.

How is this configured?

Thank you.

NOTE: I tried to search for "search field" in the forums and it responded that the terms were too generic.

Currently work is being done for FLEXIcontent advanced search view

You can search text fields with the standard FLEXIcontent search plugin, (Goto Joomla's plugin management and filter to list search plugins). Edit Standard search plugin to make sure that searching in text field is enabled

Which version do you have?
