Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to unable changing of categorie on edition. (especially for author).

They can select the categorie at the beginning but not at the edition.

If i remember correctly, i have thought exactly of this before.

We would need to define a new permission RULE for this.

e.g. ACTION 'edit.state' allows/disallows change items publication state , like state and featured flag and publish up/down times if i remember correctly.

Currently this is not available, but your request makes sense.

The new rule would be 'edit.category' ...

Adding it is not difficult, just it will be done after final version.
