Hello,
flexicontent looks very interesting 8-) , but as far, as i understand its system, i have to decide if i only want to use flexicontent system or on the other hand the traditional joomla content system. I should not try to use joomla content for normal article for example on my frontpage and flexicontent for special purposes on same joomla site. Is this correct, or can i mix it in some way?

Thank you and best regards, Macjoomla

flexicontent use com_content and use category of joomla 2.5 nothing is hacking in joomla core
flexicontent adding multi-category for content and specific field (image / text / select / ...) to creat more content type.
a specific template for item and category view and advenced search by filetring
... and more and more feature !!

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

exactly FLEXIcontent uses Joomla articles/categories structure to store its data, and enhances them with
- content types
- extra fields
- item/category template layouts
etc
