Flexiaccess help | Frustration

Hello,
I am getting so frustrating after de 30 time I gave up.

I want to add a custom validation to COMUNITY BUILDER for flexiaccess, I need to only show the USERS tabs to the client.
How can I add a rule that only allows the user to see this link and not the ENTIRE comunity builder?

I have tried the tutorial in the faqs but no result what so ever.

Problem number 1:
this first thing that the tutorial says is to validate the user bellow admin: this does not work in our case it allies to all users.

the second part is to only show one item in the sub-menu but because CB have 3 level drop-down, FACESS is not controlling it.

Is there any easy way to do this?

$canManageVehicle = ($user->gid < 25)
is not relevant to anything other than checking that user is not super admin (gid<25), and is meant not apply rule for super-admins, nothing more.


- the tutorial is editing about admin.mycomponent.php to control which button or management tabs are displayed by the component

- about Joomla backend menu , (is this what you ask right?) i will try to find information update the tutorial

Yes that is exactly it.

Because CB comes all the way from 1.0 I don't know if it is standard so I don't have the knowledge to know if it is suppose to work or not.

Edit: that >25 was not working, because the change was actually been applied to super admins.
