What needs to be done is add paging to FAQ template,

or even better allow grouping by sub-category in the category Database model,

then in each page, one of the subcategories will have a "continues to next page" note

the above can be done by a new parameter in the category parameters called "Group by 1st level subcategory", then the FAQ template will be update to include the above note

Just if using the above then will not be able to include items from any depth subcategory

Hello

I'm very intesrest by grouping all items from one categorie or sub-categorie.

Items might be linked with differents categories.
When I clik on the link to the first categorie, I would like to see, for all items of this first categorie, the items of the same categorie or sub-categorie, grouped together.

For example :
item A linked to cat2 and cat 5
item B linked to cat1 and cat 2
item C linked to cat 1 and cat 2

Displaying cat 2

Title cat2

Title :Cat5
item A

Title :cat1
item B
item C

Displaying cat 1

Title : cat1
Title :cat2
item B
item C

Do you think it's possible ?

Thank you

This is done by the FAQ template , but it does not support multi-pages , if you set a low item-per page , the subcategory items will probably be spread across pages

Actually, for my current category view I would just need a line of code for my template that displays the subcategory titles. I do not think that it makes a lot of sense to display more then one subcategory level.

1. set your category to have a large number of items per page e.g. 200 (limitation ALL items must display in same page)

2. set your category to use FAQ template

that is it
