Limiting posting access to one author for a category

Limiting posting access to one author for a category was created by fatmanmedi

hi,

i have a simple question.

Is it possible to assign a secondary category to one author and limit posting rights to that author?

i have Flexicontent v 2.0.0 RC8 (r1486 2.0.0 RC8 (r1486). Joomla 2.5.7

yes you can do it with link to submission form
you can overvide option to limit by author and categorie

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

-- You can configure to give "create" privilege to one user only

Add your user to a new usergroup and then only give to this usergroup the "create" permission

-- about "secondary category"
currently, there is no option to limit a category to be used as secondary category only

but it is interesting proposal !!
