Blog layout image position left does not wrap with text

If i use a blog layout for a category and i use left for the image position, the layout does not look good. The intro text does not wrap around the image, like it is when the image is in the right position. If it is in the right position, it looks nice. However, i would like my images on the left and not always on the right.

If i make the image position left, the intro text appears underneath the image and not next to it, on the right of the image.

Can someone perhaps tell me if this is correct or am i doing something wrong?
