Creating own field afterwards was created by Rooney

Hi,

I have changed the image field so that it is using Yootheme's lightbox effect. Now I have the problem that of course after updating FlexiContent I have to adapt the changes to the image field again. If I create an own field now I have to edit all articles again. Is there a way to create an own image field and keep the relation to the articles to this new field?

You can go to a field , edit it, and change its field_type

existing field values will not be deleted, but the new field must be able to use the value of the old field
