Have tried to remove the field from the template? The field itself is a default field that must be in the type.

Go to FLEXIcontent->Templates and edit the Category layout for your template (I guess you're using the blog template?)

Then just drag the "Description" field to the left container called "Core fields" so it's not viewed. If it's already there, then I don't know how to fix it...

I don't know if this will fix your problem, but try it! :)

hi linuus!!

tks for your answer..

yes, i'm using a copy of the blog template
and the description field is in the core fields area...

i'm guessing that the [...] are from the description field but it could be from any thing else that doesn't cross my mind yet!! :D

tkx anyway!!

Hi,

In your category parameters, for your blog template, set :
Code:
Introtext max length : 0
for Leading Items and Intro Items
so, the function who cut the field and add [...] will not be applied.

Hi,

Is it the same for the parameters "Introtext max length" of Intro Items (on the screenshot it's the Leading items parameter and there is 0 leading item displayed for you).

And may be try to clean Flexicontent category cache (Tools > Clean Cache).

I test on my localhost and it works well.
